Inclusion & Belonging Policy

Wild & Wiser is built on connection, safety, kindness and belonging. We are committed to creating a space where everyone who identifies with the experience of womanhood can gather, grow and be themselves.

Our space is for:

  • Women

  • Transgender women

  • Non-binary or gender-expansive individuals who feel aligned with this community

We trust people to self-select thoughtfully. No one will ever be asked to “prove” their gender or identity.

Our values

  • Kindness — we treat one another with warmth, integrity and respect

  • Belonging — we look out for each other and create space for all voices

  • Safety — emotional, psychological and physical safety are central to the festival

  • Community — we honour shared experiences and support each other’s growth

  • Nature — we gather outdoors, grounded by the land beneath us

Expectations

All attendees, facilitators, speakers and partners agree to uphold these values.

We reserve the right to intervene or ask someone to leave if their behaviour undermines the safety or wellbeing of the community.

Wild & Wiser is an inclusive, women-centred experience — and we are grateful for everyone who chooses to be part of it.

Ticket Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a Wild & Wiser ticket, you agree to the following terms. We’ve kept them clear and fair – not hidden in legal jargon.

Tickets

  • Tickets are sold via our official website and authorised ticketing partners only

  • Tickets are for personal use and may not be resold for profit

  • All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable

Event changes

Wild & Wiser is a living, breathing event. Sometimes small changes are unavoidable.

We reserve the right to:

  • Make reasonable changes to the programme, speakers or timetable

  • Substitute facilitators with equally qualified alternatives

  • Adjust schedules due to weather, safety or circumstances beyond our control

These do not constitute grounds for a refund.

Good faith & shared responsibility

Wild & Wiser is built on trust, integrity and mutual respect. By purchasing a ticket, you are doing so in good faith – with the intention of participating honestly, respectfully and in the spirit of the event.

This means:

  • Purchasing a ticket for yourself (or another woman attending with consent)

  • Not misusing discounts, transfers or access arrangements

  • Engaging with the event, its facilitators and fellow attendees with kindness and integrity

  • Respecting that this is a founder-led, small-scale event built with care rather than a faceless corporate production

We ask all attendees to meet us in that same spirit of good faith, shared responsibility and goodwill.

Women-only space Wild & Wiser is a women-only event. Tickets are purchased and held in good faith for women who wish to attend. This is a deliberate choice, made to create a safe, supportive and reflective space, and is permitted under the Equality Act 2010 as a single‑sex service.

We are inclusive of trans women and welcome anyone who lives and identifies as a woman. We ask that tickets are not purchased for anyone who does not meet this criterion, and that this boundary is respected by all attendees.

Behaviour & community standards

Wild & Wiser is rooted in respect, inclusion and psychological safety.

We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove anyone whose behaviour is:

  • Disruptive or unsafe

  • Discriminatory, abusive or harassing

  • In breach of our values or the Equality Act 2010

No refund will be issued in these circumstances.

Health & wellbeing

You attend Wild & Wiser at your own risk. Activities may include movement, nature‑based experiences and workshops.

Please:

  • Look after your own physical and mental wellbeing

  • Only participate in activities that feel right for you

  • Inform us of relevant conditions where appropriate

Refund & Cancellation Policy

We know plans change – and we also need to balance fairness with the realities of running a small, independent event.

Cooling‑off period

In line with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you may cancel your ticket within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, provided the event is more than 14 days away.

After the cooling‑off period

After 14 days, tickets are non‑refundable, unless:

  • The event is cancelled

  • The event is significantly changed or postponed

If Wild & Wiser is cancelled

If we have to cancel the event, you will be offered:

  • A full refund, or

  • The option to transfer your ticket to a rescheduled date

Transfers

You may transfer your ticket to another person up to 7 days before the event, with written notice to us.

Weather

Wild & Wiser is an outdoor‑led event. Please come prepared for the British weather.

Cancellation due to weather will only occur where safety is compromised.

A final word

Wild & Wiser is being built with heart, integrity and care. These policies exist to protect you and us, and to create a space where everyone knows what to expect.

If something doesn’t feel clear, or you need to talk it through, please reach out.

We’re in this together.
