Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2026

Wild & Wiser is founded on trust, care and respect – including how we look after your personal data. This policy explains, in plain English, what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe.

Who we are

Wild & Wiser is operated by Kelly Keating Coaching & Consulting, UK‑based. For the purposes of UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), we are the data controller.

If you ever want to check, change or ask about your data, you can contact us at:
hello@wildandwiser.co.uk

What information we collect

We only collect what we genuinely need to run Wild & Wiser. This may include:

  • Your name and email address (e.g. when you join the waitlist or buy a ticket)

  • Billing details for ticket purchases (processed securely via our payment provider – we don’t store card details)

  • Accessibility, dietary or wellbeing information you choose to share so we can support you properly at the event

  • Basic website analytics (to understand what’s useful and what’s not)

Why we collect it

We use your data to:

  • Manage ticket sales and event communications

  • Share important updates about the event

  • Provide a safe, inclusive and accessible experience

  • Meet our legal and accounting obligations

We will never sell your data or use it in ways that don’t align with the spirit of Wild & Wiser.

Legal basis for processing

Under UK GDPR, we rely on:

  • Consent – when you opt in to communications

  • Contract – when you purchase a ticket

  • Legal obligation – for financial and regulatory requirements

  • Legitimate interests – to run and improve the event responsibly

How we store and protect your data

Your data is stored securely using reputable platforms (such as Wix, ticketing and email providers) with appropriate safeguards in place. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse or unauthorised access.

We only keep your data for as long as necessary.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you

  • Ask us to correct or delete it

  • Withdraw consent at any time

  • Make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)

We hope you’ll come to us first – we’re human, and we care.
